With the release of SWIDT's critically acclaimed debut album Stoneyhunga, Olivia Laita and SWIDT came together to host an Onehunga experience on the evening of their album launch. The evening consisted of an album listening session, exhibition and a pop-up store all themed around SWIDT 'Stoneyhunga'. Post-Graffiti Pacific artists Jamie McCready, Brendan Kitto and Elliot Francis Stewart complimented the overall sub-cultural experience with McCready paying homage to Onehunga rap group pioneers R.E.S, who were heavy influencers on the next generation being SWIDT. Kitto then brings us to the present with photographs of SWIDT repping their neighbourhood and Stewart's past SWIDT comic illustrations reminded us on how far SWIDT has come in such a short amount of time, progressing exponentially quick on the NZ Hip Hop scene.
