Elliot Francis Stewart is known as one of New Zealand’s most sought after and in-demand post-graffiti pacific artists, based out of Grey Lynn, Auckland. A crowd and artists favourite, Elliot has worked on an extensive body of comic works over the last two years. This December, he shares with us visually stimulating, appealing and captivating storyboards that touch on more serious and confronting issues such as procrastination, heartbreak, relationships, gentrification and homelessness. He also flexes his skills as a dark comedic writer that makes you wonder whether to laugh or cry or both. His solo exhibition, ‘I Made This’ features his original comics, a select number of fine art reproductions and his very first comic zine that neatly encapsulates all his exhibition works into one.
